On October 19, 2018 the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners in Bulgaria (ACFE Bulgaria), together with Paysafe Bulgaria, organized the first Digital Wallets Fraud and Cyber Security conference. The conference “How Safe is Your Digital Wallet” was a half-day conference and took place at the Capital Fort business center. The conference presented real measures for fraud prevention and cyber security guidelines when working with digital wallets.
During the event, reports on issues related to electronic fraud and cyber-security were delivered by the following lecturers:
Svetoslav Aleksiev, CFE – Director Risk Operations at Paysafe. Specialist with over 8 years of experience in the field of Risk Management and Fraud Prevention. He manages structures responsible for online fraud investigations, online transaction monitoring, customer verification, and anti-money laundering.
Asen Taskov, CISSP, CRISC – Head of Paysafe’s Information Security Department. Specialist with over 10 years experience in the field of information security. He is responsible for developing and implementing information security in the company by taking part in the design, implementation, and operational readiness of structures that control security.
Vladimir Ikonomov, CFE – PMO Head of First Investment Bank AD and Chairman of ACFE Bulgaria. He has been a long-time employee in the Internal Audit Directorate and has over 7 years of experience in investigating, analyzing and preventing fraud.
Svetlin Lazarov – Head of Cyber Intelligence and Digital Forensics at General Directorate Combating Organized Crime (GDCOC, ГДБОП)
Aleksandar Kirkov – Head of Scientific research laboratory for cybernetic security – University of Library Studies and Information Technologies
