On December 11th, 2018, a training course on Building an Effective Code of Ethics and Hotline Management took place in the training center of ACFE Bulgaria with lecturer – Mr. Krasimir Logofetov, CFE, CIA, a certified member of ACFE Bulgaria and Chief Audit Executive at Bulgarian Telecommunications Company EAD (VIVACOM).

A program to raise ethical standards at the organization level, as well as the ethical staff’s individual responsibilities, was presented.

Some of the main areas covered by the effective code of ethics – conflict of interest, gift acceptance, corruption, working with company data as well as others – were examined.

Valuable tools for raising raise staff awareness in ethics and ethical values were presented.

The members of ACFE Bulgaria have received certificates for Continuing Professional Education (2 CPE).
