On July 26, 2017, a training course on “Telephone Fraud – Technical and Administrative Methods for Control and Prevention” took place in the training center of ACFE Bulgaria. During the training, the main aspects of the phenomenon of “telephone fraud” were covered, as were the main observations and conclusions from both state institutions and private sector analyzes.

The training took the form of a discussion, given the depth of the presented data and analyzes. The main administrative and technical approaches to managing and preventing such frauds were presented.

The training ended with a practical presentation of a developed and implemented model for the prevention of phone fraud – from the general application architecture to the technical details (PL/SQL Stored Procedures on database layer), based on which the model was developed, tested and implemented.

The members of ACFE Bulgaria have received certificates of professional qualification (2 CPE).
